[That sound is music to Rean's ears, really, and it draws out a brighter smile.]
Not at all. I'm ready, too, so just as soon as the bus gets here...
[Which, hey! Look at that! There it comes.
It's a relatively uneventful bus ride, the two of them chatting until Crow pulls the cord to request their stop in Tisse. After that, it's just a matter of making their way over to the Wiffle-Waffle, and the mailbox.]
Oh um I'm super not picky, but I don't know about LUNCH I was imagining something ... free Like maybe just hanging out in the park or the beach or somewhere
Yeah, I've always got it on me. I just carry it in my pocket just in case these days.
But, yeah, makes enough sense to me. Here goes...
[In goes the ticket, and there's a little sound of something dropping inside the mailbox. Rean reaches to open the door, and has to reach out and catch the marble-like object as it rolls out.
Rean steps back, centering the quartz in his palm to examine it and also show Crow.
It's a reddish-orange color, with a golden flame etched inside.]
...
Huh. Kind of funny that I'm getting this now, given what we just got rid of.
[Crow moves to look over Rean's shoulder, watching as the red orb rolls in his palm. It's much more vibrant than his own, which had a dark purple/blackish hue. Rean's was a red/orange, vibrant like flames themselves.
And sure enough, there's a flame mark etched into it.]
Whoa.
[He gives an impressed whistle.]
Elliot did say we all kinda had elements we aligned to. Guess we know which one's yours.
[Crow watches as he puts Force into it's place, watching as Rean's eyes seem to light up just a shade brighter once it's there. He didn't need to compare it to Canon to know that there was something that synced up.
It's hard to hide a smile of his own.]
Wait-wait wait.
[Crow playfully jumps around to go behind Rean, putting his hands on his shoulders and peek over the one on the right.
[When he does, there's a soft "thump" from inside, and Rean opens the little door to have fabric spilling out.
Pulling it out reveals a decently heavy jacket, red and dark navy with gold accents and an embroidered phoenix around the back. It's lined with a sort of sherpa-esque fabric. It'd probably be really nice for this time of year!]
Even Crow's eyes are wide at what comes out. It was a jacket, with excellent embroidery and stitchwork, good material and definitely warm enough for the winter while not being too constricting looking.
And even better, it looked just Rean's size.]
Whoa is right. That jacket couldn't be more 'you'.
[He holds out his hands, a silent question on if he can hold it a second.]
